About Me
Ava Watson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Entertainment and Media from the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia.
With a keen eye for visual storytelling, Ava is carving her path towards a future as a cinematographer and film director, fueled by her passion for film and her extensive experience directing short films.
With Minors in both American Sign Language and Design and Media Studies plus a certificate in New Media, Ava was able to make the most of her time at UGA.
Through her ASL studies, she was able to study abroad in France and learn parts of Langue de Signes while developing her skills in ASL and learning more about the Deaf community. Meanwhile, her New Media certificate has taught her the inner workings of web development and kept her up to date with emerging technologies.
